Create a Christmas package

Make a list of your bestselling food products and meals. With that list of your best sellers, create special Christmas 2021 packages with combinations of these items. For example, a restaurant could have some set menus put together which contain a special selection of 2 or 3 courses. Additionally, a food manufacturer or distributor could put together some combos of the best selling items and sell them as a unit.
Ensure your target market can afford them. As everybody has different budgets, create a few different combinations of set menus, or different products packages together at different price points.

Festive Packaging

Make certain that your packaging looks festive. It goes a long way for consumers and your customers to know that these ARE indeed special Christmas offerings and these won’t be available after the festive period has ended. Even for a restaurant, put the set menu items on a separate sheet that looks Christmassy. You could even add a card or a note for that extra special personal touch.

Take beautiful images of the products

This is a sure way to increase your income this Christmas. People love seeing beautiful images, especially of food, it whets the appetite and customers will imagine the flavours and smells coming through with a good photograph. So get your iPhone out for some quick snaps for social media – of course – for extra professional looking photos, you will need to hire a photographer.

Collaboration

Collaboration with other brands that have an online presence to increase your visibility. To really increase your income this Christmas you should try collaborate with other brands that have an strong online presence. Find partners that don’t compete with you, but instead compliment your offerings. For instance, a boutique cheese house could partner up with a small company that makes crackers. The possibilities are endless.
Market these products with a huge drive. Get on social media, put signs outside your premises, tell everyone about it. The snowball effect of more and more people talking about your offering will lead to bookings and sales.

Sell on other online market places

If you aren’t already on Amazon you might be missing a trick. Set yourself up an Amazon business account and get your products up there. (Of course this won’t work for restaurants so well, but there are Deliveroo and Just Eat platforms. So you could easily do a Christmas package on those as well.

Caviar tins

Don’t wait until mid December to start marketing as people need time and get orders in early for delivery. Couriers are super busy this year again and your customers don’t want to risk missing out on a delivery. Bookings at your restaurant need to be made, people want to celebrate and have a good time with friends and family (before the next lockdown) before Christmas.

Do these 5 tips above successfully and you really are going to increase your income this Christmas.
